The female Counter Strike 1.6 team Les Seules have extended their “mutually beneficial agreement” with MYM, signing with the Danish organistion on a permanent basis.

The professional female Counter Strike 1.6 team Les Seules have signed a deal which sees their organisations team and web properties merge with the Meet Your Makers (MYM) brand.

The team is one of the oldest brands in female gaming and the only female team who've competed in an international male competition.

The team signed a deal with MYM earlier in July, shortly before the Electronic Sports World Cup (ESWC) Masters competition in Paris, France. The terms of the deal aren't known but the team wore MYM merchandise and had the in-game tag “MYM.Seules”, which suggests the Danish organisation helped finance the trip to France.

The Team finished first beating reigning ESWC champions SK Gaming in the final, 16-12 on de_inferno; also taking $7500 in prize money. The manager of the team, Louise 'AurorA' Thomsen, who is a former player herself, said she was “confident that building a longer term relationship with the MYM organisation would be beneficial to both parties” on the MYM website.

Mark Peter Fries, chief operations officer of MYM, was very straightforward with his explanation of the move, “having the biggest brand within female gaming was of course something we're [MYM] very satisfied with”. After evaluating the teams ESWC Masters performance, MYM felt the team could “do more together in the future”.
